The Girl Who Heard the Music

The Girl Who Heard the Music Book Cover

The True Story of a Girl…

At just nine years old, Mahani Teave left the small island of Rapa Nui to study music. She became very successful as a pianist, but missed the chirping crickets and crashing waves of her island home. With tourism bringing hundreds of thousands of visitors and more trash than the residents could dispose of, tons and tons of trash filled the ocean surrounding her home and Mahani decided to do something about it.

…who brought music and hope…Home.
